COLOURS OF ONTARIO’S FOUR SEASONS

THE HALTON BLACK HISTORY SOCIETY presents COLOURS OF ONTARIO’S FOUR SEASONS
August 21 – September 2
Halton Hills Cultural Centre – Helson Gallery, 9 Church St, Georgetown, ON L7G 2A3
The Halton Black History Society presents a group of artists coming together to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday. Each of these individuals presents their individual impression of the Colours of Ontario’s Four Seasons.
Some of these individuals were born and have lived here all their lives; others have adopted Canada and Ontario as their homeland.
They all have stories of surviving and adjusting to the difference in times and seasons, of their surroundings, of the towns and cities they have lived in, of doing things to help them cope with these changes.
Artist, Jennylynd James will display large paintings from her floral series (5’ x 4’).
Artists would like viewers to see places and events through their eyes; experience their emotions, impressions, and surroundings.
Please join us for the Opening reception to be held on the evening of August 22nd, 2017. Everyone is welcome.
